Wayan was very knowledgeable and he taught us a lot about Balinese culture and history and the conversation in the car was great! The stops we had on the day were really great too - the waterfalls were so impressive, the wood carving was very interesting, we loved the coffee plantation and traditional Balinese house, lunch was amazing (with incredible views) and the rice fields and swing was an awesome way to end the day. We ended our day feeling very accomplished and thrilled to have seen so much of Ubud that we would have never have been able to see without a guide. He knew all the picturesque spots and offered to take tons of pictures for us.
The rice terrace, swings, traditional Bali house and the Tirta Empull temple were fantastic. I especially appreciated the final stop at the painting school- the intricacy of the drawings and the passion of the artists was wonderful.
